    Hey quick question:
Any reason to use an analog meter instead of digital nowadays? Digital seems to be what people mostly use now but I figured I should still ask anyways. Thanks!

    Hey Sid,

For the most part, not really. I suppose the main advantage of an analog meter over digital would be that you can better visualize the range of what you’re measuring by watching the needle move back and forth, rather than seeing the numbers on a digital display just change.

That being said: If you have an analog meter lying around, feel free to use it! As long as it works and is still accurate/consistent then I don’t see any reason not to use it unless you feel like getting a digital display instead.
