Personal Protective Equipment will perform the duty it is advertised and rated for, so no need to worry about that. You can arguably never have too much protection, though when it comes to PPE you should also factor in user comfort and such. Putting someone in the maximum amount of gear for a job that may not require it can make the operator uncomfortable due to heat or restricted movement, which may affect their performance in a way that may quite frankly be unnecessary.
Just something to think about. As far as if the equipment will actually hold up as rated, you should have nothing to worry about in that regard!
