Is is possible to run two rectifiers in parallel if I need to increase the current the circuit can handle? Or should I just get a larger one?

Sometimes space is at a premium eh? Yes it is possible to parallel bridges and increase the Current capacity. In fact it is a common practice in many different brands and sizes of VFDs to paralleled rectifiers in the front end of the drive, and paralleled IGBT modules in the Inverter section of the drive as well. This allows to get up to 200HP – 800HP range.
