PNOZSIGMA Y32 output

    how do you use the Y32 output?

    Hello Douglas good question,
    The Y32 output is a solid state output configured “open collector.” It will require that connect all your 0Volt power supplies together in order for it to work correctly. It has a 24volt 20ma capacity. The instruction sheet shows it driving a PLC input which is exactly the type of thing it is designed for. Doesn’t have to be a PLC input but rather a reasonably high impedance input is best.

    Oh ok but how does it work with only 1 terminal?

    That is where the part about connecting all the external power supplies 0volt terminals together comes in. This way all the components in the same panel have a common reference point and then you only need 1 output terminal from the PNOZ to the device it is going to connect too, ok?
