Aluminum Wire Issues – Fuse terminals burned up?

    i’ve been having trouble with some of my electrical connections, what can i do to keep them from corroding and making poor connections? Also, some of my fuse terminals burned up… any tips…?

    Hello Carl,
    There is a product called Noalox joint compound made by Ideal.
    It is non-corrosive and conductive paste type compound designed to aid electrical connections when using aluminum wire, or when connecting copper wire to aluminum terminals. Basically any dissimilar metals connected electrically can have improved service life when an anti-oxidant joint compound like this is used.
